Hope opened in 2012 as a faith-community school for expat children in kindergarten through grade 12. NIT bought it in 2019 and rebranded to AISB-Hope International in April 2020, which is why the AISB name now sits on the building. The campus is part of NIT's Chaoyang education park alongside the older AISB and Beijing International School operations.

Teachers know every child and college counselling is one to one. Families who do not want to be in a 1,500-student environment may find that appealing. Downsides at this scale include limited senior-elective range, a small peer group, and a parent body that thins quickly when one or two families leave. Tuition runs roughly 175,000 to 271,000 RMB. Cohort-size stability is an open question for any family considering enrolment.
