Reviews
- Daystar is widely seen as one of Beijing's stronger bilingual schools. Local forum threads list it alongside 3E in the small group of Chinese-international bilinguals a real factor, and r/Internationalteachers comments single out its primary as a stand-out.
- The bilingual model is genuinely 50:50 in early years and shifts towards English by high school. Parents who want their child literate in both Chinese and English without paying full international-school fees rate it highly.
- IB Diploma results are solid and university outcomes are strong. The Class of 2025 placed 86 percent of US-bound applicants into top-30 US universities, and the previous cohort averaged $927,000 in scholarships per student.
- The Social Innovation programme is a genuine differentiator. It runs from kindergarten through Grade 12 and is the first of its kind in China.
- Reviews of teaching quality are warm. Parents describe smaller class sizes, attentive teachers and a Christian-influenced framework that suits some families and not others. a real factor how it lands if you don't share the school's values.
