In brief
A long-running Saudi private school in Al-Muruj running an American curriculum with Cambridge exams alongside, well regarded by Saudi families and rated A by the Ministry of Education.
Delta has been operating in Riyadh since 1999 on a 25,000 square metre campus in Al-Muruj. The programme is American Common Core through to Grade 12, with SAT and Cambridge exam preparation built in for the senior years. COGNIA accreditation gives US college recognition.
Parent voice leans positive on staff dedication, ease of communication with leadership, and the strength of the elementary and kindergarten years. The student body skews Saudi rather than expat, which shapes the social fit for families coming in from outside. Facilities cover labs, sports courts, libraries, and a theatre, though families used to the resource budgets of AISR or BISR will notice the difference.
Reviews
- Parent reviews are overwhelmingly positive across edarabia, ischooladvisor and YaSchools, but the pool is small and skews like school-supplied testimonial. Treated as low-weight.
- Recurring positive themes are the elementary and kindergarten section, the Cambridge-supported curriculum at the international section, responsive administration, and named teachers.
- One parent said the school is "extremely organized and very well run" and another that "Delta Care responded and solved my complaint in a day".
- Negatives are narrow: late finish times affecting student sleep, and parking organisation around drop-off and pickup.
- No Reddit, Mumsnet, ISD or TalesMag thread surfaces. Independent corroboration is thin, and the verdict should be read as such.
