Buckswood Riyadh was inaugurated by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City in 2024 under its International Schools Attraction Programme. The school operates the English National Curriculum, blending EYFS and primary years with Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Saudi history. Founding Head Dr Tamar Demetradze comes from the Buckswood UK and Buckswood Georgia leadership teams.
Initial intake is KG1 to Grade 3, with a published plan to expand year by year through to Grade 12 and IGCSE and A Levels. Families considering Buckswood are choosing a small, new primary with a known head rather than an established brand. Independent reviews are thin given how new it is, and parents will be relying on word of mouth from the first cohorts and on the strength of the head's hires.
