A small IB PYP and American curriculum school in Al Muruj, opened in 2008 and part of the Singapore-headquartered Global Schools Foundation network.

OWIS Riyadh runs an IB Primary Years Programme alongside an American-curriculum pathway, currently for ages 3 to 15, with around 600 students and CIS accreditation. The campus on Olaya Street is modern and purpose-fitted, and the school sits inside the wider GSF network of campuses across Asia and the Middle East. A second OWIS campus has now opened in the Al Jazeera district, which extends the brand's footprint in the city.

Parents speak warmly about a hands-on principal who greets families at the gate, attentive teachers, and a well-judged learning environment for younger children. Confidence and social development get repeated mention. Fees of roughly SAR 37,000 to SAR 62,000 sit comfortably mid market for an internationally accredited school. The current ceiling at age 15 means families with older children need a clear next-school plan.

  • OWIS Riyadh is the Saudi campus of the Singapore-headquartered Global Schools Foundation chain, opened in 2022 in Olaya and following IB and American tracks.
  • Independent parent voices online are scarce; what surfaces is school-fed press and short directory testimonials calling it welcoming, with the principal greeting children at the gate.
  • A 2025 Reddit thread from an inbound American teacher quoted SAR 13,000 to 16,000 a month tax-free with flights and medical, which several Riyadh commenters said was on the lower end of expat packages.
  • A separate post in 2025 came from a market-research firm offering paid consultations to OWIS parents, suggesting the school is actively trying to gather parent feedback.
  • The school positions itself as a moderately priced international option, which several directory entries echo against pricier Riyadh peers.
