In brief
The flagship Sri KDU international campus in Kota Damansara, running the English National Curriculum through IGCSE and A Level.
Sri KDU runs the National Curriculum of England from Early Years through Year 9, then Cambridge IGCSE, then A Level into sixth form. The Kota Damansara site is the original Sri KDU campus, with the international arm of the group launched in 2011 alongside the established private national school. Sri KDU schools sit inside the Inspired Education Group network, with sister international campuses in Subang Jaya, Klang and Penang.
Families relocating to Kota Damansara value the location, with the new MRT station 200 metres up the road and Surian and the Curve nearby. Reviews are split. Some parents describe a welcoming admissions process, kind teachers and visible improvements; others raise concerns about substitute teaching cover, responsiveness to bullying complaints, and cafeteria standards after a change of food operator. Traffic at drop-off and pick-up gets repeated mention.
Reviews
- The Kota Damansara campus is the original Sri KDU and where most independent parent commentary sits.
- ISDB and aggregator reviews describe a school with strong infrastructure and a recognisable academic record, but with notable inconsistency in teaching quality and management responsiveness.
- One repeated theme is that many subjects are now taught by substitute or short-term teachers, with parents calling the standard variable and at times poor.
- Bullying is the most serious recurring concern: one parent reported a child being bullied verbally and physically for nearly three years with little institutional response.
- Canteen quality, fairness of discipline across ethnic lines, and a parent council that feels overruled also surface in critical reviews.
- International-teacher commentary describes Sri KDU as a demanding employer with weak pay, which matches the staff-turnover picture parents describe.
