One of a small number of schools in the city offering all three IB programmes (PYP, MYP and Diploma). CIS-accredited, with English-medium instruction alongside Arabic and Islamic studies covering around 20% of the curriculum.

- Workload is heavy. High-school students face roughly two hours of homework on top of a 7:10am to 3:45pm school day, on a co-ed model that becomes single-sex from Grade 4 onwards.

Leadership
Dr. Liam Browne
Dr. Liam Browne is the Superintendent at Advanced Learning Schools (ALS), having been appointed to the role in August 2024. He previously served as the Head of School at the Franconian International School in Germany for three years. Dr. Browne is a highly experienced international educator and leader, serving as a veteran accreditation evaluator and visiting team chair for the Council of International Schools (CIS). His extensive accreditation work also includes collaborations with the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Middle States Association (MSA). He is dedicated to fostering inquiry-based learning and excellence in international education.
