The French school in Manila, on the Eurocampus in Better Living, Parañaque, sharing the site with the German school. The French national programme runs from maternelle at age 2 through Terminale, with an American International Section bolted on for families who want a bilingual track.

Teachers are mostly French-certified rather than locally recruited, and parents praise the warmth of the maternelle and primary years. The school is small at around 65 reported in DB, but the joint Eurocampus puts roughly 700 children across LFM and the German school on one site, so daily life feels larger than the headcount suggests.

Practical points families flag. Parañaque traffic is real, and living near Better Living matters more here than at most Manila international schools. Fees at PHP 344k to 752k are high for the local market but lower than the British and American premium tier. Some turnover in the early-years team has unsettled a few families, though the overall signal on teaching quality stays positive.

  • Parents repeatedly thank teachers and praise the academic level. One parent said they could never thank their children's teachers enough for their work.
  • Children pick up English quickly despite French-medium instruction, with multiple parents reporting full bilingualism within six to twelve months.
  • The Eurocampus setting in Paranaque is described as a strong asset, with a pool, more space and cleaner air than central Manila. One parent said an asthmatic child improved after the move from Makati.
  • Fees draw mixed reactions. Some parents call them prohibitive and shocking; others note the school is among the cheapest French lycees in Asia and that French government scholarships are available.
  • Class sizes in primary average roughly 12 to 24, which parents see as a clear positive against larger international peers.

Positives

  • Teaching. Parents single out individual teachers and the quality of curriculum delivery, especially in early primary.
  • Bilingualism. Children move from French-only to fluent English within a school year because of the wider Manila environment.
  • Campus. Eurocampus shared facilities in Paranaque are considered better than most Manila schools, with health benefits cited compared with central neighbourhoods.
  • Class size. Primary classes of 12 to 24 are viewed as a competitive advantage against larger English-medium internationals.

Considerations

  • Fees. Some parents find tuition prohibitive; others position it as comparatively cheap among French lycees in Asia, with scholarships available through the consulate.
