Makson International Academy

Makson is a bilingual international school in Phnom Penh founded in 2020, running International Primary Curriculum alongside the Cambodian national curriculum from nursery up. Instruction in English and Khmer.

The school is fully accredited by the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. IPC runs across social studies, science, design and technology and electives, with the Khmer national programme alongside. Facilities are modern and the early years programme is the strongest part of the offer at this stage of the school's growth.

The school is young, so there is little long-cohort signal yet. Available parent voice is positive on classroom environment, services and discipline. The IPC layer is the differentiator versus the more common Cambridge or American options at this fee point. Best fit for Cambodian and regional families who want bilingual English-Khmer schooling with an IPC primary backbone and a contained, modern campus, and who are comfortable backing a school still building out its upper years.
