The Phnom Penh campus of the Singapore-headquartered Invictus group, opened in 2020 on Norodom Boulevard and pitched as a more affordable Cambridge English-medium alternative to the established top tier.

Invictus group started in Singapore in 2015 and now runs campuses in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Cambodia. The Phnom Penh school takes children from age 3 to 18 across EYFS, IPC, Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A Level. Singapore Maths runs through the primary programme. Fees sit in the affordable international band at roughly USD 4,650 to USD 10,200, well below ISPP and Northbridge.

Families who landed early speak positively about engaged teachers, a welcoming atmosphere and a clean, central campus. The most consistent concern in the early years was senior management staff churn, with children losing track of who their teachers were. The school has acknowledged that 2022 transitional period and families who joined more recently report a steadier picture. The five-year track record is still short, so visit, ask about retention, and probe how the upper years are settling.

  • Reviews are mixed. The International Schools Database aggregates around 4.6 of 5 across nine reviews, with parents naming affordable fees, friendly teachers and an engaged school community. iSchoolAdvisor carries four uniformly positive 5-star reviews from parents praising patient teachers, an approachable principal and a strong community feel.
  • The clearest negative signal sits on the same ISDB page. One parent called the school really terrible, citing senior management constantly changing staff and a teacher allegedly telling their son he should stop schooling if he was not interested in studying. The school responded acknowledging a transitional summer and apologising.
  • Recurring theme across positive reviews: the bilingual Cambridge-Singapore curriculum, modern facilities and that pupils settled in fast. The most common practical gripe is the lack of a swimming pool.
  • Group-level Glassdoor signal is weak. Invictus International School carries a 2.4 of 5 employer rating with reports of frequent SLT change and a board oriented around commercial returns. That maps onto the staff turnover the negative parent flagged at this campus.
