Braeside Thika is the only Braeburn school in greater Nairobi with a meaningful boarding programme. Four houses, around twelve students each, suit families based outside Nairobi or those who want a more structured boarding experience inside Kenya. The curriculum is the English national curriculum with UK BTEC pathways at the senior end, and the school is COBIS-accredited.

Public parent voice is light, and what exists describes an engaged community with active parent involvement through the FABT group and termly meetings. The school's selling point is the rural Thika setting and the breadth of outdoor and weekend boarding activities, from kayaking to horse riding. The honest trade-off is that academic depth at the senior end is harder to read from the outside, and ambitious A Level families typically still favour the larger Braeburn or Brookhouse senior schools.
