CHIREC's newest and largest campus, inaugurated 2024 in Serilingampally. Operated by Cognita since their 2019 acquisition of the CHIREC group. Houses CBSE, Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma in a single multi-grade facility.

The 9.5-acre Serilingampally campus is anchored by two academic blocks and the city's first elevated sports deck, at 120,000 square feet. Ramesh Mudgal heads the campus; the founding-family line continues post-acquisition, with Mrs Ratna Reddy as Advisor and her daughter Aneesha as Head of Strategic Initiatives.

Ages 2.5 to 17. CIS accredited. Fees run INR 2.1 to 4.1 lakh annually, in line with CHIREC's other campuses. The Gachibowli IT-corridor location is much closer to working-parent catchment than the more distant Patancheru or Maheshwaram sites.

Families weighing this campus are mostly weighing CHIREC the brand, since the Serilingampally site is young and most of what circulates is about CHIREC as a brand rather than the new building itself. The recurring threads are about value and teaching consistency more than the campus itself. People who have paid the fees keep asking what they are getting back: lakhs a year for an education some describe as no better than cheaper schools nearby, with teaching that swings hard by section and subject. Set against that, the new IT-corridor location and the building itself draw warmer notes, and the early-years end of the school gets steady praise for warmth and day-to-day contact with parents.

Positives

  • New campus and location. The 2024 Serilingampally building, with its large sports deck and labs, sits inside the Gachibowli IT corridor, which lands as a genuine convenience for working parents who would otherwise be driving to the older Kondapur or out-of-town sites.
  • Early years experience. Parents at the pre-primary and lower-grade end describe caring, attentive teachers, a clean and safe environment with plenty of outdoor play space, and regular communication and feedback from staff.

Considerations

  • Teaching quality varies. Accounts split sharply: some call the teachers excellent and invested, others say faculty lack subject expertise and that quality dips by section and batch, with individual attention thin in larger classes unless families pay for extra coaching.
  • Fees versus value. The fees, running into several lakhs a year before transport, come up constantly as steep for what is delivered, and more than one former student and prospective parent frames CHIREC as charging international-school money without the substance to match it.
  • Affluent student culture. Students and parents repeatedly describe a wealthy, status-conscious peer culture, and some deliberately look elsewhere to avoid the rich-kids atmosphere they associate with the school.
  • Admissions and administration friction. Recurring gripes touch the admissions counter, where some parents found counsellors unhelpful or evasive on basic fee questions, alongside scattered complaints about transport and slow communication from the office.

Leadership

Ramesh Mudgal

I am delighted to be a part of the CHIREC family – an institution which is reputed for excellence and innovation. With over 3 decades of experience in teaching and school leadership, I am thrilled to contribute to CHIREC 2.0 by enhancing teaching and processes that focus on 'Teaching for Learning,' leading to achievement and growth of every learner. My vision is to foster holistic development of every learner while also driving the school’s digital transformation.
