Part of ISA International Education Group, a large K-12 campus in Liwan District opened in 2022 and built with around 180 million USD of investment. Cognia accredited and authorised for the IB Diploma in 2023 with MYP authorisation in 2024.
The site combines ISA Liwan International School and the dual-pathway ISA Wenhua Liwan School on a single campus, with boarding for primary, middle and high school. David Griffiths leads the international school. Curriculum spans PYP, MYP, IB Diploma, A-Level, AP, IGCSE and an HKDSE pathway through the Wenhua side. Capacity is around 1,500.
Hurun Education ranked the school 8th among Guangzhou international schools in 2025, and ISA group schools collectively secured a Cambridge offer in 2024. Lingnan cultural programming is a deliberate identity marker. Fees are at the top of the Guangzhou bracket. Best fit for families wanting maximum optionality across international and Chinese-curriculum pathways under one roof, with metro access via Longxi Station.

Head of school
David Griffiths
David is an experienced educational leader with over 24 years of service in HMC and GSA schools. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business from Southampton and a PGCE from University College Chichester (UCC). David knows China well, having worked as Headmaster and BE Director from 2015 – 2021, when he established Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou as a leading international school and brand. Davids' dedication to community remains central to his work. In addition to the ISA Charity work, he has spearheaded initiatives such as the Borealis Expeditions to Iceland and East Greenland, which have enhanced students’ academic outcomes and helped them secure places at highly competitive universities. Across his leadership roles, his focus on holistic education ensures students excel both in and beyond the classroom.
