In brief
Cambridge IGCSE day school inside Embassy Golf Links Business Park in Challaghatta, opened in 2019 by the Nalapad family. Premium fee bracket, marketed on facilities and on a high-touch admissions experience.
The campus sits inside the Embassy Golf Links business park, which gives it an unusual setting and unusually strong sports infrastructure for a city school: squash court, swimming pool, archery, football turf. Curriculum runs Cambridge from the early years through IGCSE.
Reviews split. Families who like it talk warmly about the admissions and parent-relations team and about the breadth of co-curricular options. The negative thread on aggregator sites is patchier teaching consistency and a sense that the school is still settling its academic identity. A young roll, no senior graduating cohort yet to point to, and a fee level that puts it in the same conversation as the city's most established names.
Reviews
A young Cambridge-curriculum school opened in 2019 on a polished Embassy Golf Links campus, founded and owned by the Nalapad family (N. A. Haris, sitting Karnataka MLA, and his son Omar as Director). Parent commentary skews positive on the admissions team, the facilities, and the day-to-day handling of transport, food, and class-teacher communication. The harder edges sit on the staffing and governance side, where the leadership chair has turned over more than once in a short institutional life and where teacher-pay competitiveness has been flagged.
Positives
- Campus and facilities. Purpose-built campus inside Embassy Golf Links with a swimming pool, squash court, football turf, archery range, and an Apple-equipped classroom setup. The physical plant is a consistent bright spot in parent feedback.
- Admissions and front-of-house. The admissions and parent-relations team gets warm marks for being responsive, well-informed, and easy to deal with through the enrolment process.
- Class-teacher relationships. Parents describe class teachers and coordinators as approachable, with week-ahead curriculum notes going out via Google Classroom and coordinators acting as the day-to-day point of contact.
- Pastoral and daily operations. Transport, canteen food, and the small operational details around a child's day come up as handled. The 24-per-class average keeps classrooms on the smaller side for a Bangalore Cambridge school.
Considerations
- Leadership continuity. The principal seat has changed hands more than once since the school opened in 2019, with three different heads of school cycling through in a short period. Some sense of settled academic leadership is still being built.
- Teacher pay and recruitment. Pay scales have been described as below the level needed to consistently attract experienced teachers from competing Cambridge schools in Bangalore. Set against the fee level, this is the gap to probe.
- Founder family and governance. The founder family is politically prominent in Karnataka and the school's identity is closely tied to that. For some parents the connection reads as patronage and resources; for others the political profile and the family's wider public history are reasons for pause. The school's day-to-day operation sits separately from the political news cycle but the brand is the family name.
- Track record. Open since 2019 and still building out its IGCSE and A Level results history. Published exam results and university-destination data are not yet at the depth older Bangalore Cambridge schools provide.
