A genuinely bilingual school in Kesiman, near Sanur, founded by parents in 1995 and now serving around 775 students from over 40 nationalities through Cambridge IGCSE and A Level.

Dyatmika's distinctive feature is the dual-language model in Early Years and Primary, with full fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia by the end of primary, then mostly English-medium teaching at secondary with Bahasa as a required subject. Cambridge International accreditation, A Level pathway, broad co-curricular programme covering sport, environment and the arts.

Parent voice is consistently positive. Families talk about happy children, experienced teaching staff, high standards and a genuine community feel. University placement into competitive UK and Australian destinations is well-established. The clincher for many is fees: at roughly 43 to 155 million IDR, Dyatmika delivers a recognised academic pathway at roughly a third of the headline price of Green School, which is why it is often the value pick for families settling in Sanur or Denpasar.

  • Reddit's r/bali sees Dyatmika named consistently as one of Bali's better international options, often grouped with Bali Island School, Canggu Community School and AIS. One commenter said "Bali Island / Dyatmika / AIS are some of the better ones"; another grew up there and said "Dyatmika is also great, I had lots of friends who went to school there as well".
  • Value for money is the most-repeated theme. Multiple commenters frame Dyatmika as the best-value premium option in Bali, particularly against Green School at the top of the price range. One Indonesian-language post called it "best value" among the city's international schools.
  • Bilingual delivery and the Cambridge IGCSE pathway are the recurring academic positives. Parents and ex-pupils describe a small, stable community with families who often stay for the full school career; the school's own page corroborates strong retention but is treated as marketing.
  • Aggregator review pools are small and uniformly positive on staff care and the rice-field campus. No detailed criticism surfaces in either Reddit, Mumsnet or directory pools.
  • Bali expat group posts confirm the school is well-known to families considering relocation; a 2023 Facebook post asking for reviews drew interest but few substantive replies. Pre-2014 posts use "international" in the school's branding, which the Indonesian government later restricted.
