The bilingual model runs English and German in parallel throughout the day across all year groups, following the Canton Zurich curriculum. That cantonal alignment is meaningful: children leaving SIS Wollishofen at Grade 6 can transition directly into Swiss public secondary school without bridging courses, which matters for families planning longer stays in Switzerland. The school has operated this model since 2000, so the approach is well-established rather than experimental.
