New PORG has the best IB results in Prague by a significant margin, but it's a Czech-language school first and the IB programme is a specialist pathway - if your child doesn't speak Czech, this is not the right school.

An IB average of 38.9 in 2025 - ranked best in the EU and 24th globally - puts New PORG in a category of its own for academic outcomes. That figure is well above ECP and ISP, and roughly five points above the global IB average. It runs as a Czech gymnasium with an IB stream, which means it's structured and resourced as a high-performing Czech secondary school, not as an international school. The IB programme is taught in English and Czech combined, with serious academic demands on both.

Annual IB tuition is CZK 330,200 for 2026/27, the lowest of any IB school in Prague with results of this calibre. There's a scholarship fund for high-achieving students from families who can't cover the full fees. The Prague 4 campus in the Krc area is large with good sports facilities. The two-year IB Diploma programme admits students at age 16 from outside the gymnasium; the eight-year gymnasium track starts at age 11 and is the main route through the school.

This school is not set up for international families arriving in Prague mid-education. Instruction outside the IB stream is in Czech, the culture is Czech-first, and families need strong Czech language skills to navigate daily school life. If your child is joining at age 16 specifically for the IB and already has solid Czech, it's worth a conversation with admissions. For most relocating families at primary or early secondary stage, the other Prague schools are a better fit.
