South Delhi's only IB continuum school, running PYP, MYP, and the Diploma on the Apeejay Panchsheel Park campus, established as the Apeejay group's international wing in 1975.

Apeejay School International sits on an eight-acre campus in Sheikh Sarai Phase 1, sharing the site with the Apeejay CBSE school under the same Apeejay Education Society. The international wing runs the full IB pathway from Nursery to Class 12 and is CIS-accredited. Around 600 students. Head of school is Mr Purshottam Dutt Vashist. Fees of INR 7 to 13 lakh sit a tier below AES and the British School.

Parents talk warmly about teacher accessibility, the Toddle communications platform, and a learning culture pitched around inquiry rather than rote. The IB programme draws families wanting an international track without the embassy-circuit price tag. The school appeals particularly to Indian families repatriating from abroad and to expat households on local-hire terms. Less of a diplomatic-circuit pick than AES or the British School.

Year level Age Fee

Grades 3-5 (PYP) 8 ₹900,000

Grades 11-12 (IB Diploma) 16 ₹1,300,000

  • An IB World School running PYP, MYP and DP at Sheikh Sarai in South Delhi, part of the wider Apeejay Education group. Parent ratings aggregate to across 14 ratings, all clustered at 4 or 5 stars.
  • Parents talk about the school in university-prep terms. One parent said it is the "best international school for those looking to send their kids in foreign universities in future." Another flagged "great infrastructure" specifically.
  • Communication is a recurring positive. One parent said "the teachers are extremely helpful and are always available to resolve a parent's doubts" and described regular two-way contact through the school's parent app.
  • The IB framing is the consistent draw. Parents seeking inquiry-led learning and an international university pipeline pick Apeejay over the surrounding CBSE schools rather than alongside them.
  • Public parent signal is essentially absent. The school does not surface in parent discussions about international or IB schooling, which fits its small year-group size relative to the big CBSE players.
  • The pool of parent voices is small enough that strong individual voices carry weight. Treat as a positive but narrow read rather than a settled consensus.

Positives

  • IB and university pipeline. Parents specifically value the PYP, MYP and DP route and the foreign-university orientation that comes with it
  • Communication and teacher access. Parents describe responsive teachers and individual-level attention through the school's parent communication app
  • Infrastructure. Repeated mentions of strong physical facilities at the Sheikh Sarai campus

Considerations

  • Evidence base. Fourteen directory reviews, no Reddit or Mumsnet discussion; thin sample but uniformly positive
