With 2,906 students across two campuses, OIS is the largest dedicated IB school in Mumbai and one of the few globally to hold 'IB Preferred Partner' status. That designation matters: it signals that the school meets IB's highest standard for programme delivery. The 2025 IB Diploma average of 35.5 - well above the global average of 30.58 - is a consistent result, not a one-off. Scholarship outcomes are strong too, with the Class of 2025 attracting USD 8.1 million in university awards.

Average class size at 18 and a 9:1 student-faculty ratio give OIS a genuine claim to personalised attention, which parents who've moved from larger Mumbai schools tend to notice quickly. Both campuses run PYP, MYP, and Diploma, with representation from 29 nationalities. The Goregaon East (OGC) campus is the original and slightly larger; the JVLR campus in Jogeshwari East is newer with a LEED Gold-certified building.

Fees are in the INR 560,000 to 890,000 range - significantly lower than DAIS at the senior level - but the admissions process is selective and popular. Families outside the western corridor of Mumbai (Goregaon to Jogeshwari) often cite the commute as the main practical obstacle.
