Ecole Mondiale works best for families in Juhu, Versova, or Andheri West who want a pure IB school with all-inclusive fees and a smaller campus community. The reputation has been uneven in the past - worth visiting and speaking to current families before committing at these fee levels.

Mumbai's first full IB continuum school, Ecole Mondiale has been offering PYP through Diploma in Juhu since 2004 and holds a 1:6 student-teacher ratio in a 70-classroom campus with a swimming pool and specialist arts studios. The fee structure is one of the more transparent in Mumbai: INR 9.9 lakh per year for Grades 1-10 and INR 10.9 lakh for the Diploma, with textbooks, uniforms, and pool access all included. Non-Indians pay in euros at a substantial premium.

The school draws primarily from the Juhu-Versova-Andheri belt, and the Juhu campus is manageable for families in that corridor. Co-curricular depth is reasonable at this size, including a long-running World Scholars Cup programme and well-developed performing arts facilities. The 1:6 ratio is genuine: class sizes stay small across the year groups, and the atmosphere is noticeably less pressured than the larger IB schools.

Online reviews have been more mixed than the marketing suggests, with recurring mentions of facility maintenance and parent communication. There has been management instability in past years, though current ownership appears stable. The fee structure's non-refundable admission fee (INR 3 lakh) and non-interest-bearing security deposit (INR 3 lakh) make the initial commitment significant. Budget in an additional INR 2.25 lakh if you need the air-conditioned bus service.
