Curriculum runs the English National Curriculum to IGCSE then offers IB Diploma and Cambridge advanced routes at sixth form, which is wider choice than most schools at this size.

Parent voice splits. Families who landed well describe attentive teachers, a warm small-school feel and good progress. A persistent strand of feedback flags teacher turnover and inconsistent quality across departments, which Glassdoor reviews from teachers themselves echo. Suits families who want the smaller-school feel and can interview the heads of department for the subjects that matter most to their child.

  • The small review pool is polarised. Parent comments praise friendly staff, experienced teachers, and long-term satisfaction with educational standards.
  • The clearest negative comment comes from a student, who describes unqualified or absent teachers, poor treatment of students, and weak academic support.
  • With only a few public reviews, the fairest reading is mixed rather than settled. Families should not infer a broad consensus from the available comments.

Positives

  • Parent satisfaction. Some parents describe friendly staff, experienced teachers, and strong satisfaction over several years.

Considerations

  • Student criticism. A student review criticises teacher quality, absences, student treatment, and academic support.
  • Small review pool. The limited number of public reviews makes the signal polarised and thin.
