Reviews
- The school sits inside a politically and ideologically charged conversation in Turkish public discourse. Most of what surfaces online is commentary on the foundation behind the school and its land lease in Beykoz, not on classroom experience.
- Parents posting on Şikayetvar describe administrative friction. One reported a registration cancellation that was not processed for around six months without explanation.
- The school has a high fee point relative to other Istanbul private schools. Several Turkish-language commenters flag this directly.
- Aggregator sites carry a single parent review praising the campus and teaching approach. No detail.
- IB authorisation is in place and is the academic talking point. Independent parent feedback on classroom outcomes is thin.
Positives
- Curriculum and campus. One aggregator review and the school's own materials emphasise the Turkish-IB combination, the Beykoz campus and the boarding option.
Considerations
- Administrative responsiveness. A Turkish complaints platform carries a parent report about a registration cancellation request left unresolved for months.
- Fees. Turkish-language commenters describe NUN as among the more expensive private schools in Istanbul.
- Foundation and politics. Public debate centres on the foundation behind the school and a long-term land lease in Beykoz. This is reputational, not classroom-level.
