A Singapore-curriculum dual-stream school inside the Gamuda Gardens township in Hoang Mai, opened in December 2015 and operated by KinderWorld International Group. WASC-accredited, around 500 students.

Lorraine Els leads. The school runs two parallel streams: a Vietnamese national programme for local students and an international programme using the Singapore curriculum in English, maths and science, with Cambridge IGCSE in the senior years. Class sizes capped at 25. Facilities are the standard Gamuda Gardens package, with green space, sports pitches, a multi-purpose hall and labs.

KinderWorld is the largest operator of foreign-invested international schools in Vietnam, with around 16 campuses, which gives the network real depth. The natural family is a Vietnamese household wanting Singapore-style maths and science discipline, plus expat families looking for a more affordable English-medium route than the British or American tier. The dual-stream model means this is a different feel from a pure international school; worth visiting in person to gauge fit.

  • Independent parent commentary is light. Editorial profiles describe the campus as bright, modern and purpose-built within the Gamuda Gardens estate, with small classes around 20 pupils.
  • Curriculum is the KinderWorld dual-stream model: Singapore-based primary, Cambridge IGCSEs and A Levels in upper years, plus the GAC-ACT pathway. Strong English, maths and science emphasis.
  • One Hanoi-based teacher commenting online described the broader Singapore International School Hanoi network as having an "iffy reputation" among teachers, though that comment referenced the older Hanoi campus and recruitment, not parent experience here.
  • Group-wide signal across KinderWorld's Vietnam network is mixed for staff; parent-side commentary, where it surfaces, is generally positive on facilities and small class sizes.

Positives

  • Facilities and campus. Purpose-built site, comprehensive sports and STEM facilities, small classes.
  • Curriculum mix. Singapore-Cambridge blend with multiple senior pathways including IGCSE, A Level and GAC-ACT.

Considerations

  • Group reputation. KinderWorld network draws mixed teacher commentary; less specific parent feedback for this campus.
