Fettes College Guangzhou draws on 150 years of the parent school's boarding tradition and opened in 2020 as a joint venture between Fettes College UK and Country Garden Education. The campus in Zengcheng's Phoenix City was designed by Broadway Malyan, combining British boarding house architecture with Lingnan design elements. The Forbes Top 18 International Schools in China ranking and three consecutive years of Oxford and Cambridge acceptances establish its academic credibility for a school less than five years old.

The co-teaching model - Chinese and expat teachers developing lessons together - is the school's distinguishing structural feature. Facilities include equestrian, squash, tennis, golf, swimming, a grand theatre, calligraphy rooms, and a fashion design studio.
