Operating from a purpose-built campus in Meydan since 2023, LLFPM serves as Taaleem's inaugural French curriculum school offering kindergarten through secondary levels. Under Principal Joseph Salamé's leadership, the school follows the French national curriculum with strong Lebanese cultural influences, teaching primarily in French while meeting UAE requirements for Arabic instruction. The school received KHDA Very Good rating and benefits from AEFE accreditation, positioning it alongside other French institutions in Dubai's competitive market.

Parent discussions highlight the school's strong sense of community and inclusive atmosphere, with some describing it as the best French option in Dubai for families seeking Lebanese cultural connection. The Meydan location provides modern facilities and hosts external programs like Star Football Academy, indicating decent sports infrastructure. However, the school generates minimal discussion in typical expatriate education forums compared to established French institutions like Lycée Français Jean Mermoz or Georges Pompidou, suggesting it serves a specialized Lebanese-French speaking community rather than broader international families.

Strengths

  • Strong community atmosphere with supportive leadership praised by parents
  • French curriculum with authentic Lebanese cultural elements and AEFE accreditation
  • New purpose-built campus in Meydan with modern facilities
  • Part of established Taaleem group providing operational stability
  • KHDA Very Good rating demonstrating solid educational standards

Considerations

  • Very limited visibility and discussion compared to established Dubai French schools
  • Primarily serves Lebanese-French speaking families rather than broader international community
  • Recently relocated campus in 2023 means limited track record at current location
  • No available data on university placement outcomes or specific academic results
  • Remote Meydan location may be inconvenient for families living in central Dubai areas

LLFPM moved from Muhaisnah to a purpose-built 35,686 sqm Meydan campus in 2021 and now sits at roughly 1,300 to 1,350 students across maternelle to terminale on the French national programme, with AEFE accreditation and trilingual instruction in French, Arabic and English. The KHDA 2023/24 inspection at the new campus came in Very Good overall, with Outstanding for leadership and governance, protection and care, and personal development, and Outstanding teaching in maternelle and lycée. Brevet results in 2025 ran at a 100 percent pass rate with all candidates passing with mention, and the baccalauréat at 95.8 percent. Joseph Salamé is proviseur and frames the school as forming confident, responsible, globally minded citizens carrying a trilingual French, Lebanese and Arabic culture. Taaleem acquired the school in November 2024 and the not-for-profit governance model has shifted into the group. Arabic and Islamic Education sit a tier below the rest of the school, and families joining without French can find the first months hard.

Positives

  • Regulatory standing. KHDA Very Good overall at the 2023/24 inspection, the first formal inspection at the Meydan campus, with Outstanding in leadership and governance, protection and care, and personal development.
  • Academic outcomes. Brevet 2025 at 100 percent pass and 100 percent with mention; baccalauréat 2025 at 95.8 percent pass with majority distinctions; outstanding maternelle achievement in French, mathematics and science.
  • Campus and facilities. Purpose-built 35,686 sqm Meydan site opened 2021, seven buildings connected by footbridges with large green spaces, recognised for sustainable architecture.
  • Community and pastoral. Strong sense of community across 26 nationalities anchored in the Lebanese and Francophone families; wellbeing rated Very Good and health and safety Outstanding.
  • French curriculum and AEFE network. AEFE-accredited French national programme through to the baccalauréat, trilingual in French, Arabic and English with Spanish as a fourth option.

Considerations

  • Arabic and Islamic Education. Progress in Arabic and Islamic Education sits at Good while the rest of the school sits higher; teaching consistency varies by phase and assessment alignment with Ministry of Education standards needs work.
  • Entry for non-French speakers. Families joining without French talk about a hard first few months; additional language support exists but the curriculum runs in French from the early years.
  • Ownership change. Taaleem took ownership in November 2024, moving the school from its original not-for-profit board governance into a large UAE schools group; framed as bringing operational and investment scale, with the day-to-day feel of the change still settling.
  • Fees. Premium-band French school in Dubai. PS/MS around AED 40,000; terminale around AED 69,000, with an average sitting near AED 50,000 for 2025/26.
