The school serves Dubai's international community through an international curriculum framework, though specific details about which international qualifications or educational pathways are offered remain unclear from available sources. This positions it within Dubai's extensive international school sector alongside numerous established institutions serving expatriate and local families seeking internationally recognized education.

Without detailed information about the school's campus location, facilities, student demographics, academic outcomes, or fee structure, families considering this institution would benefit from direct engagement with school administrators. The limited online presence suggests prospective parents should arrange campus visits and meetings to properly evaluate the school's educational approach, teaching quality, and suitability for their children's needs.

Strengths

  • Operates within Dubai's regulated international education sector
  • Offers international curriculum pathways
  • Serves the diverse expatriate community in Dubai

Considerations

  • Limited public information available about specific programs and facilities
  • Requires direct contact with school for detailed enrollment information
  • Academic outcomes and university placement data not readily available

A brand-new Umm Suqeim 2 start-up that has had a bumpy run-up. KHDA licensing pushed the full primary and Year 7 opening from 2024-25 to August 2025; only the nursery opened on the original timetable. The school sits on a former government girls' school site near Kite Beach, with eventual capacity around 700, and currently runs Early Years through Year 7. The founding principal Darren Jones and the Director of Early Years both left before the full launch, and Zara Harrington came in as principal in June 2025. Ownership traces back to Albina Nasyrova, who operates the Bala City schools in Kazan, Tatarstan, and the curriculum mixes the English National Curriculum with Singaporean maths and a Russian academic strand on top of the UAE Ministry requirements. With no KHDA inspection on the record yet and no exam cohort, almost everything still rests on the small founding cohort and the new leadership team finding their feet.

Positives

  • Small founding cohort. Classes are tiny by Dubai standards in this opening phase, and the early families describe staff knowing every child by name.
  • Campus and site. Umm Suqeim 2 location on a former government girls' school plot, walkable to Kite Beach, with a 20,000 sqm footprint sized for eventual growth to roughly 700 pupils.
  • Curriculum blend. English National Curriculum spine with Singaporean maths and a Russian academic strand reflecting the ownership, alongside the standard UAE Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies.

Considerations

  • Licensing and opening delay. KHDA only signed off the school and Year 7 for August 2025 after the 2024-25 opening slipped. Further growth into the upper secondary years is still subject to KHDA approval rather than confirmed.
  • Leadership turnover before full launch. Founding principal Darren Jones and the Director of Early Years both departed before the school fully opened. Zara Harrington stepped in as principal in June 2025, weeks before the primary and Year 7 launch.
  • No track record yet. No KHDA inspection rating, no GCSE or A Level cohort, and no published staff profiles or ratios. Everything beyond the prospectus is still to be proven.
  • Ownership. Backed by Albina Nasyrova, who runs the Bala City private schools in Kazan, Tatarstan. The Dubai project is the first international venture from that group.
