  • Brighton College's second Bangkok campus opened in August 2025 in a rebuilt St Stephen's International School site on Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road. Discussion among teachers and parents is mostly about the takeover and staffing, not parent experience.
  • One teacher said the original St Stephen's teachers thought their school was moving across, then found out in October that it was a complete rebrand, and that some parents are leaving after how the long-standing principal was treated.
  • The same teacher said they had not heard anything obviously negative about the existing Brighton College Bangkok, but expected teething issues with staffing and an open-door admissions policy at Vibhavadi to fill the campus quickly.
  • Another teacher said Brighton's package in Bangkok has historically been better than Nord Anglia's and should continue, but that work-life balance will suffer at a new campus where teachers wear too many hats.
  • No published parent reviews of the Vibhavadi campus surfaced. Carry across cautiously: most Brighton-Bangkok parent commentary refers to the original Krungthep Kreetha campus.

Considerations

  • Takeover of St Stephen's. Brighton rebranded the existing St Stephen's site rather than relocating the school's community; one teacher commenter said parents are leaving after how the previous principal was shown the door.
  • Staffing in year one. A commenter on the international-teachers subreddit expects teething issues with staffing and a permissive admissions stance to fill the new campus.
  • Compensation and workload. Pay is described as competitive against Nord Anglia, but workload is expected to be heavy in a new-build campus where staff cover multiple roles.
  • Parent experience. No first-hand parent reviews of the Vibhavadi campus have appeared online.
