A long-running Whitefield CBSE school with the founder still at the helm. The academic reputation is solid and the project-based approach gets credit from families who stay the course. Friction shows up around admissions opacity, the annual fee climb, and a sports and co-curricular programme that runs lighter than the headline peers.

Positives

  • Academic reputation. Sits in the upper tier of Whitefield CBSE options. Teachers come across as qualified and the project-based, practical framing of lessons is what families return to in positive write-ups.
  • Leadership continuity. Shanthi Menon founded the school in 2006 and still runs it. That continuity at the top is unusual in the Bangalore private-school market and shows up in how the school holds its line on culture and discipline.
  • Campus and facilities. Swimming pool, science and robotics labs, and a tablet-based learning setup. The ECC Road site reads as a proper purpose-built CBSE campus rather than a converted villa.

Considerations

  • Admissions process. Parents repeatedly describe the entry process as opaque, with short interviews and unclear acceptance criteria. Complaints about the admission experience are one of the more consistent threads in public reviews.
  • Fees. Tuition is high for a CBSE day school, around INR 118,000 a year plus an admission processing fee, and the school raises fees by roughly 5 to 10 percent each year. Some families describe it as out of reach for the middle-income bracket it nominally serves.
  • Sports and co-curricular. A recurring criticism is that sports and cultural activities run thinner than the marketing suggests. Parents say structured coaching is patchy and the programme leans academic over all-round.
  • Discipline and pressure. The culture is described as strict and academically demanding. Some families value the rigour; others, including older students, talk about pressure tipping into harsh communication around exams and rankings.
  • Transport and safety. Bus operations come up critically more than once, with parents flagging driving standards near Kadugodi and the metro stretch. Parking around the campus is also a recurring complaint at drop-off.
  • Senior school stream choice. Grade 11 stream options are narrower than at some Whitefield peers, which has prompted a few families to move on after Grade 10 rather than continue to the senior school.
