In brief
The upper division of BC Collegiate, a small American/Canadian curriculum school in Gangnam serving roughly 300 students K to 12 and graduating its first senior class in 2017.
BC Collegiate opened in 2011 and runs a US AERO Common Core programme leading to a US-style high school diploma, with WASC accreditation across K to 12 and Cognia accreditation added for K to 8 in late 2025. The Upper Campus on Yeoksam-ro in Gangnam takes students from grade 6 through grade 12, with the Lower Campus handling kindergarten through grade 5. AP courses sit on top of the core programme.
Brian Woodson is on the senior team as vice principal rather than as head, so families inquiring about leadership should ask who currently sits in the head's seat. The school trades on a small, transparent operation with an explicit pledge to keep parents close to what happens in the classrooms, which suits families who value a more visible administration over the scale and facilities of the larger Seoul names.

It is with great honour and excitement that I introduce myself to you as the new Vice Principal at BC Collegiate. From an educational standpoint, I firmly believe children’s educational needs are best met through community involvement. The staff, faculty, and administration here at BC Collegiate pledge to be completely transparent with regard to everything that happens at BC Collegiate, especially in the classroom. At the same time, however, parental support and involvement is equally important to ensure your children reach their full academic potential. In other words, only by working together can we ultimately empower your children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary to become successful and responsible global citizens.
