In brief
A small Portuguese-English bilingual early years school in São Paulo grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach, serving children from around age one to ten.
Global Me opened in 2004 and frames its programme around social constructivism and Reggio Emilia, with project work, multiple modes of expression, and active family involvement. Teaching runs in English and Portuguese. The campus is set up as an early years and lower primary environment rather than a full school.
Parent voice is mixed. Some families speak warmly about the atmosphere and the children's enjoyment of the day. Others have raised concerns about discipline practices with very young children and about academic depth. Families who want a play-based, art-rich start and plan to transfer to a larger school for primary tend to be the natural fit.
