Escola Beit Yaacov

Brazil's largest Jewish day school, running the full IB continuum alongside Torah studies for around a thousand students from early years through high school.

Beit Yaacov was the first trilingual Jewish school in Brazil and now offers the IB Primary Years Programme since 2009, the Diploma Programme since 2013, and the Middle Years Programme from 2025. Languages of instruction are English and Portuguese, with Hebrew and Jewish studies woven through the day. The campus sits on Avenida Marquês de São Vicente.

The school draws Jewish families across denominational lines and emphasises Torah values alongside an internationally minded academic programme. Older students travel internationally on exchanges, including to Yeshivah of Flatbush in New York. Signal from outside the community is thin, which is normal for a faith school. Fit depends on whether a family wants Jewish education at the centre of school life rather than at the edges.
