In brief
A small AEFE-partner French school running kindergarten and elementary across two HCMC sites, popular with French-speaking families who want a national curriculum education without the price tag of the larger Lycee.
Founded in 2004 with campuses in Binh Thanh and Thao Dien, Boule et Billes follows the French national programme and is a partner school of the AEFE network. Around 220 students from age six months through age eleven, with native French teachers across the team.
Parents describe the staff as caring and demanding in equal measure and report strong language progression for children entering with little French. The school stops at the end of elementary, which means families plan a transition to the Lycee Francais International Marguerite Duras or another secondary option in advance. A 2025 win at the Petits champions de la lecture reading competition is the kind of result the parent body talks about.

Reviews
- Parents describe a small, family-feel French school, two campuses (Thao Dien and Binh Thanh), with caring staff and an adapted approach to each child. One parent said the "teaching staff is very caring and enthusiastic" and the environment "very friendly".
- A second parent reported being "delighted with her progress and development", crediting teaching that is "caring, demanding and adapted to the child" and noting the daughter "made great progress in French and English".
- Trilingual exposure (French, Vietnamese, English) and a play-based pedagogy through to elementary draw consistent positive comment. Onward placement to French-curriculum middle schools is reported as smooth.
- The school is small (around 220 pupils, nursery to Grade 5 only) and the review pool is correspondingly small. No negative signal of substance surfaces, but the absence is not the same as a stress test under heavier scrutiny.
