In brief
New entrant in the Al Hamra district, opened September 2024 in partnership with the UK's Ellesmere College in Shropshire, with a second campus added at the Salwa Compound in Al Rimal in early 2025.
Ellesmere College Riyadh is operated locally by the Glory and Princeton International Schools Group, which runs around fifteen schools across the region. The UK partnership with Ellesmere College Shropshire is the marketing hook, but day-to-day governance and staffing sit with the local operator. Ellesmere Muscat opened a year earlier under the same model and Ellesmere Doha is on the way, so this is a coordinated regional push rather than a one-off licence.
The academic offer is a mixed pathway. Primary uses the IB Primary Years Programme as a candidate school, secondary moves into IGCSE and then an American Diploma at the top end, and the school will adopt the High Performance Learning approach across the board. Fees of 48,000 to 68,000 SAR sit in the upper-mid bracket. With one academic year on the clock, settled parent voice does not yet exist.
