Established British international school across multiple Prague campuses, with primary in Stresovice (Prague 6) and secondary plus IB Diploma Centre in Mala Strana (Prague 1). Around 690 students from forty-plus nationalities, English curriculum through Year 11, IB Diploma in the sixth form.

Park Lane passed its 2022 BSO inspection with strong marks and sits in the small group of Prague schools that combine an English-curriculum primary with an IB Diploma exit. Class sizes run around fifteen to eighteen. The Mala Strana sixth form is a converted historic building right by Prague Castle, which is striking but means sport happens off-site at public facilities, a recurring frustration for sporty families.

Parent voice is generally warm. Families talk about teachers who know their children, a personal feel from primary into secondary, and visible academic progress. The signal is not uniform. A minority of reviews flag scheduling and management concerns at specific year groups, so visit the actual campus your child would attend rather than treating Park Lane as one homogeneous school.

  • Small classes and named teachers come up most. One parent said the personalised approach and EAL support helped a non-native English speaker move up quickly.
  • IB results sit clearly above the world average, and graduate destinations include Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL and a handful of Ivies.
  • Onboarding for expat families gets praise. The school pairs new families with existing ones from the same country, which parents say smooths the move.
  • Recurring complaint: no on-site sports facilities. The school uses public facilities in central Prague, and reviews say this still grates even after recent improvements.
  • Some primary parents flag a fragmented timetable with gaps between lessons and not enough study space.
  • A minority of reviews cite mismanagement and weaker teachers in pockets, against a Glassdoor staff recommendation rate around 80%.
