In brief
Partner school of The King's School Canterbury, claiming descent from Europe's oldest school. Opened in 2023 at the Vattanac Capital city campus and is building toward a full K-12 site with boarding by 2026.
The school opened in August 2023 for ages three to eight at the Vattanac Capital lifestyle cube in central Phnom Penh. It is the second overseas school of The King's School Canterbury, fully funded by Vattanac Properties, with the Canterbury school providing pastoral and educational oversight in return for a share of fee revenue. King's, Vattanacville is also reported as the first COBIS-accredited school in Cambodia.
Phase 2 in 2026 moves the school to the larger Vattanacville site and extends provision to age eighteen, including a boarding house. Curriculum is the English National Curriculum with Cambodian studies on the timetable. As with the other UK-brand schools in the city, the school is too new to have a settled local reputation; families committing now are betting on the Canterbury name and the long-term build-out.
