GGAS layers an American programme over the Khmer national framework and adds the IB Diploma in Grades 11 and 12, so students leave with both a US-style high school diploma and, optionally, an IB qualification. Fees sit around USD 3,200 to 6,000 a year, a fraction of ISPP or the Canadian International School, which is the main reason it draws Cambodian families with international ambitions and budget-conscious expats.

Parents talk about a safe, family-feel campus, dedicated teachers and accessible leadership. The trade-offs are visible. Facilities vary noticeably between the three campuses, some sites feel tired compared with the newer purpose-built schools, and the IB cohort at the top end is small. Families who want the resources and peer group of a fully fledged international school will feel the difference. Families who want an American-style education at Cambodian-affordable prices increasingly land here.

  • Founded 1996 in Phnom Penh; American curriculum with an IB Diploma authorised by IBO. Multi-campus, with Campus 7 referenced repeatedly in critical voice online.
  • Independent parent voice online is thin and weighted to school-aligned directory copy; the international schools database listing references reviews but published commentary is sparse.
  • Critical voice that surfaces concentrates on the IB programme staffing: one comment online claims "all the good IB teachers" have been replaced and that Campus 7 is "a mess," warning prospective teachers and families away from that campus.
  • Reddit signal is negligible; an alum from the late 2010s mentions the school neutrally as a stepping stone into a Phnom Penh marketing role.
