Despite the Paris name, the campus is in suburban La Garenne-Colombes, about ten minutes from central Paris. Average class size sits around 18 and the curriculum mixes French and English instruction across the day. The school is small, family-run in feel, and trades on personal attention rather than scale or facilities.

Parents who stay several years tend to credit Rainbow with giving their children a genuine bilingual foundation and a curious, open attitude toward learning. A common positive thread is small classes and a rich activity programme. The most consistent gripe is the EUR 350 application fee charged just to join the waiting list, which some families find heavy-handed. Like Prunelle, Rainbow ends at primary, so the next-school question matters from the start.

  • Small, bilingual French-English Montessori school for ages three to eleven, with around a hundred students from roughly twenty nationalities.
  • Parents praise small class sizes, an activity-rich day and individualised pacing. One parent said the school "adapts to your child".
  • Long-term outcomes for an alumni cohort are reported but the alumni pool is tiny: one alumni parent said three years at Rainbow gave their son "his bilingual background and open and curious attitude" before UK and US study.
  • Application costs are a recurring complaint. One parent flagged the "application fees of euro 350 for waiting list" as arbitrary.
  • No independent forum signal beyond directory aggregators. The review pool is too small for confident generalisations beyond early years and primary fit.
