Reviews
- French public lycée with multiple national "sections" running their own curricula alongside the French programme. Bac pass rate runs at or near 100 percent and the school sits among France's top-performing public schools.
- Parents call the campus and staff strong, and praise the bilingual, bicultural outcome. One parent in the American Section said their children got the best from both French and American systems and would send their own children there.
- Workload is the most consistent complaint. Parents and former students mention overwhelming homework, fear of failure and pressure on mental health. Several reviewers say it suits academically gifted children and isn't right for every family.
- French side is described as stricter than national sections; the international sections soften it.
- Admissions are competitive and the catchment around Saint-Germain-en-Laye is sought-after on its own.
