Day school for ages 3 to 18 that opened in 2013, part of the St. George's Schools group with sister campuses in Cologne and Duesseldorf Rhein-Ruhr. Around 600 students, English National Curriculum through GCSE and A Level, with an IB Diploma route in the senior years.

The school took a 20-year lease on a new building in 2018 and moved in after construction completed in 2019. Curriculum runs the English National Curriculum from Pre-Nursery to Year 9, IGCSE at Key Stage 4, then A Level or IB. COBIS-affiliated through the Patrons membership.

Family feedback is unusually positive across the small public review pool. Parents describe motivated teachers, a culture of kindness, and strong individual support for non-native English speakers and students with learning differences including dyslexia. The head leadership comes in for specific praise. Day-only, no boarding, so geography matters: families generally settle within reasonable commute of the school's site.

  • Parents and aggregator reviews describe St George's as one of Munich's three commonly-shortlisted English-medium options alongside Munich International School (MIS) and Bavarian International School (BIS).
  • Positive parent reviews cite motivated teachers, a culture of kindness, and children who are happy to attend, with several contrasting it favourably to a previous school.
  • The school takes children from age 3, earlier than MIS at 4, which surfaces in posts from families needing pre-school continuity.
  • Some posters frame it as the British-curriculum entry point in Munich, with the IB layered above; be specific with the school about which programme your child is on.
  • Staff-side reviews flag management and communication concerns from teachers; this is teacher voice, not parent voice, but it can affect classroom continuity.
  • Operated as part of the wider St George's British International School group with sister campuses elsewhere in Germany. Reputation does not transfer between sites.
