Sacred Heart International School

A Cambridge curriculum school launched in 2016 by the trust behind Sacred Heart Boys' High School, sharing the Santacruz West heritage campus.

Sacred Heart International School (SHIS) was established by the Sacred Heart Boys' High School trust as a co-educational Cambridge-curriculum school from the 2016 to 2017 academic year. It draws on more than seventy years of teaching tradition from the older boys' school and operates from the same Santacruz West campus. Senior years follow ISC alongside Cambridge content, and the school is ISO 21001 certified.

The school is still relatively young as an international, with class sizes growing into the upper years. Fees are moderate by Mumbai standards, and families choosing SHIS often value the Catholic ethos, the established campus and the proximity to Bandra and the western suburbs. Reviews are limited compared with the larger flagship campuses, which is in line with its size and the recency of the international wing.

• Newer Cambridge-curriculum venture in Santacruz West, run by the Sacred Heart Society which also operates the long-standing Sacred Heart Boys High School. Both share a website domain.
• Independent parent reviews on Indian school-comparison platforms run thin. Skoodos shows zero ratings across infrastructure, academics, sports, faculty and safety. Ezyschooling and Careers360 carry directory information but no substantive parent review pool.
• The pool that does exist on aggregator profiles is broadly positive on academics and the nurturing environment, with a recurring criticism that the academic load leaves limited room for sports and creative pursuits.
• No Reddit, Mumsnet or expat.com threads on the school surfaced. The school's online footprint is overwhelmingly its own marketing material.
• Reputation does not transfer cleanly from Sacred Heart Boys, which is the older SSC school under the same trust.
