Founded in 1937 and accredited by AEFE, the school takes priority transfers from the French network globally, which is how most expat children land here. Baccalauréat results sit around 97% pass and graduates feed into French universities, the Mexican private system, and an increasing number of US and Canadian destinations. Spanish runs through the curriculum and Mexican validation is built in at each stage.
Polanco and Coyoacán split the catchment north and south of the city, which solves the commute problem for most French families regardless of where they live. Fees sit notably below the British and American schools, another reason long-term Franco-Mexican families stay in the system. Children outside the AEFE network can apply but admission is competitive and depends on French language readiness, which is the main filter for non-French-speaking families.

Reviews
- The default choice in Mexico City for families committed to the French national curriculum. Around 80% of teaching in French, with three-language exposure (French, Spanish, English).
- Mexico City forum threads consistently rate it as one of the strongest CDMX schools academically, particularly when compared to American School Foundation, Greengates, Edron, Cumbres and Churchill.
- Networking and social capital are an explicit talking point: families cite the alumni base in Mexican professional life as a reason to choose it.
- Serious documented issue: in 2019 the school deregistered fifteen students, several with ADHD, after parents had disclosed psychological diagnoses. Conapred (the federal anti-discrimination council) issued a finding of discrimination, a fine of 207,000 pesos, and required compensation to affected families. Parents protested outside the school in Polanco. Reviews warn against the school for children with disabilities or ADHD on this basis.
