The flagship secondary campus of the SEK group, on a 20,000 square metre site in San Sebastian de los Reyes. Full IB continuum and a Spanish Bachillerato option, plus genuine sports facilities through the partner UCJC sports club.

Part of SEK Education Group, which traces back to 1892 and now runs ten schools across Spain, France, Ireland, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The Ciudalcampo campus opened in 1972 and covers ages 4 months to 18, with the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) plus the Spanish Bachillerato LOMLOE. Around 40 nationalities are represented and IB results sit above the world average.

Families joining for sixth form note the choice between IB Diploma in English, IB Diploma bilingually, or the Spanish track, which is unusual flexibility. Parent voice on the Madrid circuit is mostly positive on academics and university outcomes, with grumbles around management consistency and individual subject teachers. Parents whose primary children come up from SEK Santa Isabel in central Madrid often pick this campus over El Castillo.

  • Public review pool is very small; ratings on aggregators are positive but rest on a handful of voices.
  • One parent on the International Schools Database, in their second year with two children at the school, describes a caring environment and good teachers.
  • Madrid-relocation threads flag the location: well outside the city, accessed by a private school bus rather than public transport, which families considering central living rule it out for.
  • Older commenters from current and former students describe SEK as conservative-Christian in feel but less restrictive than Opus Dei schools nearby.
