ACS International's Middlesex campus, on the site of the old Hillingdon Court mansion. Day-only, around 600 pupils ages 4 to 18, integrated American, British and IB programmes.

Mark Wilson leads. The Lower School blends American curriculum, IB Primary Years and the English National Curriculum, the Middle School runs IB Middle Years, and Sixth Form offers IB Diploma or American high school diploma with AP. Strong arts, media and film provision, plus a 2017 Science Centre.

Around half the cohort is American and the diplomatic and corporate-relocation share is high. Smaller and more intimate than ACS Cobham, which families weighing both schools tend to feel as soon as they visit. Parents praise teacher dedication and an unusually active parent community. The flip side surfaces in school-administration grumbles, with one recent year of report-card and information-system trouble that families noticed. Day-only, no boarding option.

  • 2024 IB results put 28% of the cohort on 38+ points, with a 100% pass rate and a top score of 45/45. Class of 2025 destinations include LSE, Oxford, Imperial, UCL, McGill, King's College London, Chicago, Toronto and Vassar.
  • The smallest of the three ACS campuses, around 620 students from more than 45 nationalities, with American and diplomat families a significant share. Parents describe it as intimate and welcoming, with one calling the school "our homebase" and praising staff who treat children as more than "grade machines."
  • Curriculum flexibility is the standout: students can pick IB Diploma, IB Career-related Programme, AP Capstone or US High School Diploma. No uniform, inquiry-led teaching, strong arts and film links to Pinewood Studios.
  • Operational gripes surface in places. One parent flagged a chaotic PowerSchool rollout. Another commenter said the campus had looked "tatty" at one point, though others disputed that and pointed to a refurbished science floor and refreshed classrooms.
  • SEN provision is worth a direct conversation. The school reports SEND progress in line with peers and supports around 75 students, mostly with dyslexia or dyspraxia. Parents looking at more intensive needs should clarify scope with the school.
