Small, non-profit primary in Ikoyi running parallel Dutch and English streams for ages 18 months to 11, founded 1994 in the former Dutch consulate compound.

International Primary Curriculum on the English side, the Dutch national programme on the other, with both streams sharing one site. Hannah Loudoun heads the school, ISI accredited, with a clear emphasis on small group teaching and differentiation.

Long-running expat favourite, particularly for Dutch and Northern European families on consulate or oil-and-gas postings, but the cohort is broadly international. Parents describe the place as warm and family-feeling, with children reluctant to leave at the end of the day, and put weight on the small scale and continuity of staff. Senior school has to be picked separately, with most families moving on to AISL, BIS or back to Europe at age 11.

  • Short former-student comments are warmly positive, emphasizing a welcoming multicultural community, friendly staff, kind classmates, and a safe environment.
  • The public pool is very small and mostly student or alumni comments, so there is little parent criticism available to test the picture.

Positives

  • Community. Former students describe a united, welcoming school community where children from different cultures connect easily.
  • Staff and environment. Short comments mention friendly staff, a safe setting, and small classes that feel comfortable for children.

Considerations

  • Signal limits. The useful public pool is small, with no substantial parent review set available.
