Marymount School

A small Lekki Phase 1 nursery and primary that began as a Montessori pre-school in 2007 and now runs both a Nigerian-British section and a separate Indian CBSE section.

The Indian section follows the CBSE syllabus and Indian school calendar, with Hindi as a working language and certificates that transfer back to schools in India. It exists because the Indian community in Lekki, Victoria Island, and Ikoyi grew faster than the existing schools could absorb. The Nigerian section blends the British and Nigerian primary curricula in the standard Lekki pattern.

Class sizes are kept small and the parent body is dense with referrals from within the Indian and Nigerian professional community on the island. Reasonable termly fees by Lekki standards. Families looking for a secondary school will need to plan a transfer at the end of primary.
