A specialist sixth-form college in Ikoyi, founded 2004, focused on Cambridge A Levels and university foundation programmes for students heading to UK, US, and Canadian universities.

Bridge House is purely a 16 to 19 institution. The current campus sits at Osborne Foreshore Estate Phase II, Ikoyi, after a 2014 move from the original Abacha Estate site. Around 1,000 to 1,200 students, more than 60 lecturers, and partnerships with 50 universities and 65 feeder colleges. Top-of-Nigeria results in Cambridge A Levels in subjects including Physics, Business, Economics, and Law, with one student winning a Top in the World award for AS Law.

University placement is the main reason families choose Bridge House: a near-100 percent placement rate over 20 years and roughly 2,000 alumni placed at universities across the UK, US, and Canada, with named scholarships at Hull, Essex, Leicester, Birmingham, and Columbia. Suits academically able Nigerian and expat students who want a pre-university year or two with strong tutorial support, rather than a full secondary experience.

  • A sixth-form college in Ikoyi positioned for A Levels and a University Foundation Programme, set up to bridge Nigerian secondary school into UK and US university entry.
  • The published student voice is consistently positive on the boarding experience, with house parents described as supportive and the atmosphere informal but academically serious.
  • Reviewers single out the waterfront Ikoyi setting, secure campus, and the breadth of weekly clubs and sports as part of why the experience feels different from a standard Nigerian secondary.
  • Track record cited by the school and reposted by directories is around two thousand placements into UK, US and Canadian universities over a decade-plus, which sets the bar reviewers compare against.
  • Independent parent or alumni criticism is sparse online, so reads should weight the absence of negative signal as an unknown rather than a clean bill.
