Malaysia's longest-running private pre-university college, on the Lakeside campus in Subang Jaya, best known for Cambridge A Level and Australian SACE/AUSMAT results.

Founded in 1969 by George Leighton Taylor and his father, Taylor's College pioneered the Victorian High School Certificate as Malaysia's first pre-university programme and went on to launch the South Australian Matriculation pathway in 1982. The current college sits on 27 acres at the Taylor's Lakeside Campus in Subang Jaya, alongside Taylor's University, with Foundation programmes in Arts, Science, Business, Computing, Communication, Design, Engineering and Built Environment, plus the Diploma in Business.

Taylor's has a long record of producing among Malaysia's highest counts of A Level 3A-and-above students and over 3,000 AUSMAT alumni with ATAR 80+. Students from over 80 countries study on campus. Most reviews focus on the calibre of the lecturers, the integrated lakeside facilities and the smooth pathway into Taylor's University, while the most common complaint is parking and congestion at peak times.

  • Taylor's College in Subang Jaya is a Malaysian pre-university college, not a school, but parent and student voice In malaysiauni community is heavy and recent.
  • Alumni who took A Levels at the previous Subang Jaya campus and the Lakeside campus speak warmly: one Oxford law offer-holder credited their A Level results to Taylor's, and others describe it as one of the best periods of their life.
  • Posters consistently group Taylor's with Sunway as Malaysia's two premium private pre-u brands, with the choice often coming down to campus, fee, and personal preference rather than outcome.
  • Lakeside campus and facilities draw repeated praise: 27-acre lakeside site, on-campus mall, transport access, and modern teaching spaces.
  • Administrative service draws sharper criticism: one prospective postgraduate student described enrolment-fee handling and post-payment communication as a turn-off; another community discussion mentioned classes shifted around late and lecturers hard to contact.
  • Mainland Chinese international student concentration is a recurring theme, with current students saying group-work language barriers can be frustrating.
  • A Levels track is described as a step-change in workload in the second year, with strong outcomes for those who keep up.
