  • Brand identity has shifted twice. The school in Bandar Seri Alam was originally Excelsior, then Repton International School Malaysia, and is now operating as Invictus International School (Spring Hills). Online reviews therefore sit under different names.
  • Parent reviews under the Repton name on International School Advisor are short and uniformly five-star on a base of four. They focus on the campus and facilities: "Well structured school campus and very well maintained facilities", "Best International School in this area".
  • Teacher-side signal is sharper and more critical. International Schools Review (paywalled previews) describes a high-turnover environment with "archetypal and hapless leaders", "contracts that require careful scrutiny" and one reviewer who resigned during probation.
  • Reddit teacher-forum chatter from r/Internationalteachers is mixed. One current junior-school staffer described "good management team and decent teaching and support staff" with "excellent work life balance", but flagged it as "not the best resourced school" and uncertain post-rebrand.
  • Compensation is a separate concern: one ex-applicant noted no EPF and a taxed housing allowance.
  • Multiple operator changes and rebrands mean any historical praise has to be read against current management. Parents looking at the school today are looking at Invictus, not Repton.
