A through-train international school in the Az Zahra district of Jeddah, established in 2016 in partnership with Sweden's Kunskapsskolan Education and using the KED Program for personalised learning. IB World School authorised in July 2025.

Nün runs an English-Arabic bilingual track with Cambridge International at IGCSE and the IB Diploma in the senior school. The KED model gives each student a personal coach and a push on goal-setting and self-direction, unusual in the Jeddah market. Fees run SAR 32,450 to SAR 74,160. Allison MacDonald leads as head of school.

Families with children at Nün since the early years describe a school that takes emotional intelligence and student voice seriously, with engaged teaching staff and strong bilingual delivery. The Diploma track is new and the senior cohort is still small, so the IB results record is only just emerging. Best fit for families drawn to a personalised, Swedish-style model with a clear IB and Cambridge bilingual exit.

  • Parent commentary in English is thin. Most published feedback comes through aggregator listings rather than independent forums.
  • Parents who post praise the bilingual Arabic-English programme and the personalised KED model. Several mention visible academic and emotional growth in their child.
  • Staff and admin are repeatedly described as supportive. Glassdoor entries from teachers reinforce that, with one calling out long working hours as the main drawback.
  • One Reddit teacher discussion places Nün in the second tier of Jeddah international schools by salary and reputation, behind JPGS, AISJ and BISJ.
  • No surfaced complaints from parents. No safeguarding, fee disputes or academic concerns visible online.

Positives

  • Bilingual curriculum. Arabic-English co-teaching and the Swedish KED model attract parents looking for a personalised programme rooted in both languages.
  • Staff and ethos. Parents and ex-teachers describe staff as dedicated and the leadership as invested in raising the bar in Jeddah.

Considerations

  • Working conditions. Glassdoor reviews from teachers cite long hours alongside positive culture. Not a parent-side concern.
  • Position in the Jeddah market. Reddit discussion among international teachers places Nün in a second tier behind JPGS, AISJ and BISJ. Framed as an OK option, not a top one.
