One of the longest-established British schools in Jeddah, founded in 1967 and running the National Curriculum of England with iGCSE and A Levels. CIS and BSME accredited, with around 1,000 students.

JPGS sits in the Al Naim district and has BSO inspection coverage through the UK government. Fees run SAR 36,800 to roughly SAR 80,000, in line with the British International School of Jeddah (Continental). Headteacher Mr Raza Ali leads a teaching team where UK certification is the baseline. The school is oversubscribed and regularly cited alongside BISJ and AISJ as one of the three default expat options.

Parents describe a welcoming community, friendly staff, and a strong sport and academic offer, with consistent praise for the care given to children. The most recent BSO report flagged that the buildings are old and well-used, with some uneven surfaces, and noted a small number of bullying cases that the school was working through. Best fit for British-curriculum expat families wanting a long-established school with UK-certified staff and a clear A Level pathway.

  • JPGS is the British school most often named first by Jeddah parents and former pupils, alongside BISJ, with a long alumni track record into UK Russell Group and US universities.
  • One ex-pupil who attended nursery through Year 7 called it "one of the best schools they had been to".
  • Parents and former students describe outstanding teachers who know children individually, a strong community feel, and balanced sports and academics.
  • One Reddit poster moving from Riyadh said JPGS was the school they identified for their family before relocating.
  • One former pupil recalled JPGS students as confident to the point of arrogance compared with smaller schools, a cultural caveat rather than an academic one.
